That question is why my experience with Laurin Maier – State Farm Insurance Agent deserves more than an ordinary five-star review.

My relationship with this team began in February 2026, when I called for automobile insurance quotes. From that first conversation forward, I experienced warmth, professionalism, knowledge, responsiveness, and concern.

Megan Schroeder and Courtney Broussard, State Farm Licensed Agent Team Members, have worked most closely with me. They took time to understand my needs, explain my options, answer questions, and provide the information necessary to make an educated decision. They were thoughtful, informative, and interactive rather than transactional.

I accepted their quote without hesitation and obtained coverage at an affordable rate.

Then, in July, life changed unexpectedly.

I was involved in an automobile accident that resulted in my vehicle being declared a total loss. I had never been in an accident before and found myself navigating an unfamiliar, stressful situation.

That is when exceptional service becomes more than a pleasant conversation. It becomes invaluable.

Megan, Courtney, and the State Farm team worked with me one-on-one throughout the claims process, providing guidance, answering questions, explaining details, and helping me understand what to expect.

Knowledge reduces uncertainty. Communication reduces fear. Genuine human support reduces anxiety. This team provided all three.

The claims process was quick and convenient, but what I will remember most is how I was treated. I never felt like a claim number, policy number, or inconvenience. I felt like a person whose circumstances genuinely mattered.

Even more impressive, their service did not end when the claim ended. Megan and Courtney have continued assisting me afterward. They are respectful, knowledgeable, resourceful, caring, compassionate, and extraordinarily service-oriented.

I also recently spoke with Ellie Thomas, State Farm Intern, whose telephone presence was warm, friendly, professional, and supportive.

One excellent employee can sometimes be an exception. Consistent excellence across multiple team members is culture. And culture begins with leadership.

Although I have not personally spoken with Laurin Maier, her leadership is evident in the people representing her agency. That culture reflects service excellence, teamwork, accountability, and customer advocacy.

I also have to mention State Farm’s Drive Safe & Save® program. I was initially hesitant because of concerns I had heard about similar programs. My experience has been remarkably different. For me, it has felt like an interactive safety and awareness tool that encourages better driving habits while offering opportunities to potentially save money.

There is an important difference between a company that says it values customers and one whose people consistently demonstrate that value.
